American Idol Anyone!?

Well, I have not had much time to watch American Idol the last few years. However, this season I decided to watch it one week and am now hooked! :) It's mostly because of this girl...

I don't know what it is, but she just makes me happy! :) I don't know if I'm happy because her dancing skills are similar to mine, because I love her style of singing, or because she has a fun personality... maybe simply a mixture of them all.

Birthday Idea...

Can I just tell you... I'm horrible with the whole birthday thing! I'm usually pretty good at remembering until the day of.I have 12 siblings, two parents, four grandparents, and 20 nieces and nephews (two of which are on the way)... that's a lot of birthdays (almost 38, to be perfectly honest).

So, lately I've been thinking a lot about a new method...

There are precisely 12 months in each calendar year. I was thinking that I could simply devote one month to someone (or 2 or 3 someones). It doesn't have to be the month of their birth and it will be a suprise to them! I would simply send them birthday cards and maybe a few fun things throughout the month...

38 lbs of pure fun!!!

So, my life really isn't too interesting without Bella. When I have free time and a chance to have a camera... she's there!

A New Look...

So, today I decided I needed to change things on my blog. I also realized that all of my posts of late have to do with my puppy... and I guess there's a good reason for that. I don't have time to blog, but I couldn't let her grow up without anyone seeing her do it!

What have I been up to!? HOMEWORK! In fact, I have a paper due tomorrow and I haven't even started it yet. Not quite sure how I'm going to get it done either, but I'll think of something.

This semester I have been doing risk management research for the church. It's SUPER interesting! Lately, when I see people participating in various activities, I think about how an injury might occur and how the claim should be properly written. Yeah, I'm a nerd! BUT, the next time you plan an activity, I could tell you the statistics... like what percent of claims come from that activity. Then, maybe you would rethink things!? :)

Okay, so now I have successfully posted something other than "Bella news!" So, until next time, I hope you can all sleep better!

New Trick...

Well, I was basically running low on ideas of fun tricks to teach Bella. She's still working on improving the ones she already knows, but I wanted to add a little more spice for my benefit! :)
Yesterday during my lunch break I ran over to Walmart to get a hula hoop and these pictures show how high we've been able to get thus far. She's sure silly!










Next time I'll pay more attention to my face... telling it to smile more than simply have a pure concentrated look. ;)
